ONE TWENTY-SEVEN

He gives to his beloved sleep.

Psalm 127:2

An honest evening ritual

End the day the way it was meant to end.

Two ingredients. Full doses on the front of the label. Nothing else in the bottle — and no promises we can't keep. Built by a founder who spent 25 years inside the supplement industry and is done watching it sell you silver bullets.

First production run will be small on purpose. No spam — we'll write when it's real.

One Twenty-Seven evening rest capsules — amber bottle with a cream label listing 200 mg magnesium and 200 mg L-theanine

Why this exists

I've spent 25 years in this industry. I built supplement companies, built the manufacturing, and sold products into the biggest retailers in America. I know every trick — because I watched them get invented. The proprietary blend that hides a sprinkle of the good stuff behind a made-up name. The formula that claims to fix your energy, your immunity, your skin, and your weight, all at once. The influencer brand that's the same white-label powder as the last influencer brand, with a new label and a higher price.

Lately those tricks have found the church. Bible verses used as ad copy. “Biblical herbs” with eight miracle claims. Faith used as a marketing channel by people who see believers as an audience segment. That's where I draw the line.

So here's the truth, stated plainly: there is no silver bullet. Not in a capsule, not in a blend, not in anything I will ever sell you. Magnesium won't fix your life. It's a well-studied mineral most Americans don't get enough of, and at an honest dose it supports relaxation and restful sleep. That is the whole claim. Everything beyond that is the ritual — and the ritual is yours: phone down, Word open, lights out.

One Twenty-Seven is named for Psalm 127:2 — “He gives to his beloved sleep.” Rest isn't a metric to optimize. It's a gift to receive. We just make it a little easier to be ready for it.

The whole label

This is everything in the bottle. Not the highlights — everything. If a brand won't show you this, ask yourself why.

Magnesium (as bisglycinate chelate)

200 mg elemental

The most-studied mineral for relaxation and sleep quality. The glycinate form is chosen for absorption and for being gentle on your stomach. The dose is real — 200 mg of elemental magnesium, not 200 mg of a compound that's mostly filler.

L-theanine (from green tea)

200 mg

An amino acid with a solid body of research behind calm, unwinding, and settling a busy mind — without grogginess the next morning.

Nothing else. No proprietary blends — ever. No “dream complexes.” No eight-herb mystery stacks.

What this won't do

  • It will not cure insomnia. If you can't sleep, night after night, see a doctor — not a supplement company.
  • It will not erase anxiety, fix your marriage, or make up for a phone in your bed.
  • It will not work like a sedative, because it isn't one.

What it will do: support relaxation and restful sleep, as part of an evening you've decided to take back.

Tested, and we show our work

The Rest Kit

The capsules are the smallest part of this. The point is the last thirty minutes of your day.

01

The capsules

A 30-day supply. Magnesium bisglycinate and L-theanine, taken about an hour before bed.

02

Thirty evenings in the Word

A printed deck of thirty cards — one short passage of Scripture and one quiet line of reflection for each night of the month. Paper, on purpose. No screen required.

03

The phone card

A heavy printed card that lives where your phone charges — outside the bedroom. It says what you already know: the feed will be there tomorrow.

Who's behind this

I'm not a guru. I'm a manufacturer. Over 25 years I founded, built, and sold supplement and e-commerce companies — including a nutraceutical manufacturer whose products sat on the shelves of GNC, The Vitamin Shoppe, Walmart, and Costco. Across those years my companies did over $587 million in gross retail sales.

I've seen how this industry works from the inside — the formulation meetings, the label reviews, the marketing decks. That's exactly why this label has two ingredients and a list of things it won't do. I know every corner that can be cut. We're not cutting any of them.
